Fatayer (Lebanese Meat Pie) Filling
2 lbs. lean ground lamb or sirloin2 large onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. crushed mint
1 large can tomatoes, drained
Salt and pepper to taste
Juice of 2 lemons (optional)
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley or 1/4 cup dried parsley
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)
oil
Mix all ingredients in a skillet and cook until meat is done.
