Whole Roasted Onions -------------------- Prep Time: about 1-1/2 hours, roast with your turkey. Place 5 or 6 unpeeled onions (1/2 lb. each) in a 9"x13" pan. Bake in a 325F oven until onions give readily when gently squeezed, about 1-1/2 hours. Lift from pan and cut each onion in half lengthwise. Season to taste. From: Sunset, Nov. 1998 |
