Chicken Hearts in Tomato Sauce ------------------------------ 1 pkg Chicken Hearts 1/2 Can Tomato Sauce (I use the entire can) 2-3 cups water 6 tbs oil 1 large chopped onion 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp oregano small piece of cinnamon stick (about 1/2 inch) OPTIONAL In pot, heat oil and simmer onions and chicken hearts until brown. Add tomato sauce and water. Add seasoning and bring to a boil. Boil for about 30 minutes or longer (until sauce is as thick as you want it).
